Save the children

I enjoy doing volunteer work when I am given the chance and this was one of those occasions. Save the Children Romania tasked me with documenting two gipsy communities in the Bucharest area. It was part of a larger project concerning the way homeless and abandoned children are facing challenging social and economic issues. Some of the photographs were later chosen to illustrate their annual calendar.
